Yoga in exotic places!

Have you ever noticed that yoga photos are always taken in exotic places like on a beach in Bali?

I have decided to join in and am curating a growing collection of exotic yoga settings, including on the Camino Primitivo in Spain and the very exotic Morecambe, Lancashire!

School Sessions

Like many others I have recently returned to schools, however I was there to teach rather than learn.

I have been invited into local primary schools to run yoga sessions for their pupils in order to introduce them to new forms of exercise.

The sessions were filled with fun and only some falling over!

Yoga at Hardwick Hall

This summer I was delighted to team up with the National Trust to bring yoga to the spectacular grounds of Hardwick Hall.

In the gardens I ran yoga sessions for kids (and their adults!) which were enjoyed by all as part of the National Trust's Summer of Sport.

I also ran the first "Trees in Trees" sessions which incorporated yoga stretches into a guided walk of the grounds. These walks were also very successful and provided a way for participants to connect with nature through gentle yoga practice as well as learning more about the history of the hall.

Working up a sweat with Hotpod Yoga

I am pleased to announce that I am now teaching Hotpod yoga classes in Chesterfield. Hotpod classes are a toasty 37 degrees and are great for relaxing and stretching your muscles.

Classes take place in a giant inflatable pod with mats and soothing purple light provided. All you need to bring is a towel and some water. All are welcome regardless of your level of yoga mastery so it you're interested, or you just want to feel like you're in a grown up bouncy castle for an hour book via the Hotpod Website

Belper Town FC

I was delighted to be able to support The Nailers with a yoga session as part of their 23/24 pre-season training. Many famous footballers use yoga as part of their training so it was great to see the team having a go at yoga with great enthusiasm
