Which class is right for me?

Knowing which class to choose can be overwhelming, this quick guide will help those who don't know their vinyasa from hatha, these classes provide something for everyone

Belper

Belper classes are held at Shine Studio (the old library)

Bendy Blokes

A unique class built for the specific requirements of the male body. Fun with a focus on fitness this is a game-changer for stiff backs, legs, neck and shoulders

Mondays @ 8:30pm

Age Strong

Chair yoga for those with limited mobility who will struggle to get down to the floor this class uses a chair both to sit on and as a prop. The class includes a mixture of yoga, pilates and cardio as well as including fall prevention exercises

Foundation Yoga

For those new to yoga or with some restrictions to mobility (but who can get up and down from a yoga mat) we explore different yoga poses and build up a fun and safe practise

Derby

Hatha Yoga

A strong Hatha class for those with some experience of Yoga including breathing and movement to build resilience and flexibility

Chesterfield

Hotpod Yoga

Hotpod Yoga is one of the worlds largest yoga franchises and uses "soothing heat, calming scents, glowing lights and relaxing beats taking you a million miles from the everyday."

Classes take place in a specially designed pod that is heated to 37 degrees to "make the heart and lungs work a little harder – helping you burn more calories, and giving you a great cardio workout. Warmth also increases flexibility – easing joints and muscles and helping prevent injury. Finally… well, it’s just nice!"
